As a current console user, this whole non-physical disc option leaves a sour taste. I’m not on board with digital-licenced-only options especially if buying at full price, Generally I’d be super keen (I bought/sold/rebought W3) cant see myself getting excited about this on any platform.
We sat on the Id software ftp waiting for q2test to drop at around one in the morning, then waited around 1.5 hours for it to dl on modem While chatting on icq. Played it and the full game - wasn’t really a fan of the game.
Quake 4 was an improvement.
I use Navidrome + audinaut as my android app (I only just checked to find out that development on audinaut stopped 4 YEARS ago), so will be looking at this thread for new suggestions…
Have been using easytag on linux and kid3 on mac (kde app - not sure what other free ones there are there) for adding trackinfo so far anyway

Yeah the demo before release only showed the open world side, so it was quite a shock. Still decent if disjointed. Personally I could have done without the RTS part, or have it as a simpler mini game.

Great all the way through - enjoy the ride.
I love the design of the console. It’s fun, which was miles away from the testosterone teenage boy styling of the ps2 ( no shade still a good design)
But. The controllers weren’t the most comfortable.
If Gmail is rejecting your custom domain, you haven’t setup your SPF, or DKIM records etc for you custom domain that authorizes proton to be a valid email sender.
E.g when Gmai receives an email from a custom domain it will look up records to confirm the mail server sending it is valid.
Checkout https://proton.me/support/anti-spoofing-custom-domain or search proton SPF DKIM for guides.
You wouldnt have issues sending from a proton domain as they already have these in place for you.
I think the dev got really enthused when the twitter exodus came to fedi, but then it left and wasn’t the next big thing. Plus maintaining or building an app turned out ultimately what they wanted to do. First it had a public ui, then got scaled back to a server if I recall.

A few more apps than I was aware of so quite encouraging. Personally waiting on affinity to make the jump. Fingers not xd
Yeah ok - on my radar now. Given what he’s released to date.

LocalSend on both devices is something I’ve used

Getting anxious just thinking about it.

… There’s something about having a fixed library, one that I’ve put together myself, that makes listening feel more deliberate in a way that streaming never really did…
Yes there is. Welcome to the 20th century.

Navidrome + Audinaut for home, local cached files for the road. I too wonder if I would carry another device. The sound quality would need to be killer.
Super cool. Loved the game and the ability to wander around and find something interesting going on. Many games I’ve played cough Zero Dawn cough don’t really have a lot going on outside the main story (in my experience) I might have to track down a complete armour set one of these days.
