TNR isn’t what I’d call the mainstream media. They’re pretty upfront about their ideological positions, unlike the New York Times or Washington Post or Reuters, which twist themselves into knots trying to be “neutral.”

I hope Iran waits until a couple months before the midterms to close the Strait. Nothing like sky-high oil prices to swing an election.

I was initially suspicious after just reading the headline. But after reading the article, I am… slightly less suspicious.

She isn’t an heiress in the sense that most people would think of the term. That is, she wasn’t born into the family and has never been involved with the “family business.” Rather, she married a Walton heir who died, and she inherited her wealth from him.

All I’m saying is that, wealth and surname not withstanding, she could be a decent person with decent motives.

I see two possibilities:

1. Musk finally realized that the main buyers for EVs are more left than right, and is now trying to rescue TSLA from collapse.

2. He’s a drug-addled raging narcissist with poor impulse control and worse judgment who loves being in the headlines.

It’s actually kind of hard to apply Occam’s Razor here.

Finally, someone is doing something about the hordes of Equatorial Guineans and Togolese roaming through every major city in America.

I fucking hate Trump as much as the next anti-fascist, but the “I can shoot a man on 5th Avenue and get away with it” factor here is kind of amazing.
