For me, the crazy takeaway of the article was just how high the acceptable level of lead is for toothpaste (the current FDA limit is 20,000ppb for fluoridated toothpaste).

If you’re in a union already, that is not something that can generally be asked about by management, both at hiring or during your employment. Being in a union is not the same as being in a unionized workplace.
When employees of a store/factory/etc decide to unionize, there’s a point at which a specific larger union can be chosen to represent them (AFL-CIO, IBEW, Teamsters, etc). If successful, this is what allows for collective bargaining led by a union representative.
It is sad that this guy just can’t let go.
Honestly though, if he can preemptively put sufficient funds into escrow dedicated to managing all aspects of the site and engineering plans for digging with minimal perturbation of each waste cell, then let him have it*.
(* Escrow amount should be approximately $780m)
Oh man, that sounds like you’re referring to the one in Missouri. I riled up a number of folks that way.
Oh man, I love Noita so much, but it can be so difficult at times.
It’s so good, but I’m a bit sad that my current playthrough from last week can’t load into 1.0…
If you’re referring to being blind to the plot specifically (but not what style of game it is), then my list is:
Yes he definitely was, but I guess studios weren’t ready for the implication of mice-like creatures bring birthed from human vaginas.
You could, but should pick a different drive than c (this will likely break a ton of stuff)
I actually really like that fsutil case sensitivity can be set on a folder by folder basis so that I can have a safe space to deal with Linux files.
If it wasn’t an infosec issue (because no math rocks), it would be an opsec or comsec issue. We’re the weak link unfortunately.
Bummer. The '\?' prefix will work regardless of registry setting, though it’s a pain to remember each time.
You can also enable long paths in w10/11 (30,000+ characters). Instructions are here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/maximum-file-path-limitation?tabs=registry
Can’t you work around that with the extended length prefix of \\?\
(\\?\C:\whateverlongpathhere\
)? Though admittedly, it is a pain in the ass to use.

So does kid rock: https://thehardtimes.net/culture/kid-rock-wins-creepy-talent-show-after-reciting-verbatim-every-age-of-consent-law-from-all-50-states/
(satire of course)
Are kids still even taught the three Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle)? I was always taught that they were listed in order of importance, but that seems to conflict with modern capitalism.
For anyone in RHEL / Fedora land (or using dnf somewhere else), try dnf needs-restarting
to list executables that have mismatched files on disk vs memory. The -r
flag will hint if a reboot is needed (due to things like kernel or glibc changes)
We don’t have to send him to another country. Just put him on a raft in the middle of the ocean.
Off the top of my head, vi came out in the late 70s (though it might have been a little while later before you could start editing directly through vi)
