Pregnant people too!
It’s pretty common and it absolutely should be allowed. 99% of the cases are for cis children.
That’s the reality. Republicans want to ban it only for trans kids even though they allow and encourage it for cis kids. Gender affirming surgeries for cis kids include gynecomastia.
Oh wow 3-4 is great. My current android phone is using 9Gb out of 12. It’s insane. I have no idea what’s using it all.
I hope that since this phone isn’t running android, 6gb will be enough.
I really want phones like this to actually work and to succeed, but there are so many things these companies have to get just right – it’s a huge undertaking.
Releasing a phone that’s admittedly unfinished seems really risky. People are getting sick of unfinished products being tossed at them for full price, with the empty promises from the company that those missing features will be added in later.
I thought $500 for only 6GB of ram is really disappointing.
I tried the original Steam Controller in 2016 and generally hated it.
After I got a Steam Deck and got used to the touchpads, I bought a like-new steam controller in 2024 so I could play in docked mode and I freaking love it.
I want them to make a new one so badly. This Hori controller is not it.
If OP only turns it on when there is a drone above their house, how would it be easy to get caught?
I would love an android version of this and I will give you feedback on it and donate.
I don’t hate those people but I do want to slap them and tell them NO.
I don’t think they are just hinting about selling user data. They specifically changed their terms of service to allow it. They /are/ going to do it.
Genuine questions: If we get rid of all the ads, how do news companies get funded? Information can be freely copied and redistributed online – including all news articles. How would our favorite tech sites be funded?
I’ll be honest, I donate every chance I get to support devs for the awesome free software and services they provide, but news is different. I don’t actually pay for any news. It comes from so many sources. What’s the best financial model for news companies in a capitalist society? As a consumer, what’s the ethical model for paying for or consuming news?
Magisk requires patching the boot image to gain root. The i believe the boot img gets overwritten during an OS update, and so each time it needs to be repatched. I’m not knowledgable enough to automate patching the boot image automatically after an OS update.
I wish the modern xperia phones were more popular and got more love. Hardware-wise they are amazing, i just wish they had easily-replaceable batteries.
I just replaced the battery in mine. I had to get a heat gun to take off the back plate, as well as a new seal for the back plate. I’m not 100% convinced it is still water resistant, and I don’t plan on finding out.
I would love to try /e/, but for some reason there is no support for the Sony Xperia 1 iii.
In fact, LineageOS is my only option, and after a bunch of time spent learning how to set it up and tweaking it to meet my needs, it’s mostly fantastic. My biggest complaints are missing camera features and no easy way to do OS updates while maintaining root.
If anyone knows of a way to automate the process of regaining root after updates, please tell me!
I have an xperia 1 iii running LineageOS w/microG and I was able to get and install the sony stock Photography Pro, Cinema Pro, and Videography Pro apps, however several features of these apps are missing, such as the ability to do panorama shots and other stuff.
A school shouldn’t make kids pay to call their legal guardian. Make phone calls free.
Were they actually being dishonest about it, or were they not disclosing it? There are a lot of things people don’t disclose before meeting up. Outside of a romantic relationship context, cis people tend to be more accepting of trans people in general if the cis people don’t know right away that the person is trans and find out later.
But for sexual/romantic relationships it’s different because most people want to know the genitals of their potential partners up front. This makes it difficult for trans people, who are stuck deciding at what point they should disclose the state of their genitals, in a way that is considered honest, keeps them safe, and maintains some privacy.
I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. Are you being pedantic?
