Lots of creators get bonuses or royalties based on sales.

My bigger point is that piracy is bullshit. Either pay the price asked because you want that game or movie so bad, or say the cost is too high and walk away entirely.

Pirating something you’re too much of a skinflint to buy is super immature “I want to have my cake and eat it too” mentality. People too spineless to make even a miniscule sacrifice for their beliefs.

  • You messed up and it is entirely your fault. It is literally a skill issue. The game doesn’t cheat.

I didn’t like Mina much either but please don’t start conflating “I didn’t enjoy this” with “this is badly designed.” It’s such a lazy, egocentric way of thinking.

Also, only the daggers push you back on contact. The whip and hammer do not. I do think requiring the player to be locked into a weapon choice and then have to buy access to the other ones is a flaw because you won’t know if you like a given weapon without testing it first. Blasphemous 2 just overall did that kind of thing far, far better.

  • Aren’t the data center deals only finalized and paid upon actual completion of the project? Like that’s part of what makes the AI thing a bubble - companies are trading IOUs. I pinky swear to buy these chips once I have the data centers to house them in and the data centers have the power, water, etc from local infrastructure needed to operate and you pinky swear you’ll have the actual physical goods available at that time to fulfill that order.

What happens if a large amount of these pinky swears, which inflated stock prices are built on top of, fall through?
