I’ve been using KISS launcher for a while. It’s a search focussed launcher and you can hide the app icons.

I bought Control D’s black friday deal last year and can’t really complain about their service. Also includes some nice blocklists. But their interface is a bit confusing and slow to use.

Strange, I’m using Fennec so it shouldn’t be using any telemetry. But I’ll give it another shot for science
