I mean, even for cis women it’s basically a brand new procedure with little data, for something that’s not considered life-saving. It would be highly unethical to try one with current methods, but there’s nothing outright “impossible” about it.

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/procedures/uterus-transplant
There have been over 100 uterus transplants performed worldwide, with over 70 live births. The first successful transplant was in 2011 in Sweden.

Part of me feels like they wanted heroin and oxycodone replaced with the far more lethal fentanyl for the purpose of punishing the “wicked junkies” but that’s somewhat of a conspiracy theory.
I mean, there’s a reason crack cocaine was so prolific and associated with negative outcomes in black communities… It’s reasonable that a similar strategy might be used again in that same manner.

I live on the edge of urban/suburban in a small city and absolutely love it. 10 minutes to bike into downtown, tons and tons of businesses and job opportunities, and just a much better community atmosphere. Anytime I go into more suburban/exurban areas, it’s downright depressing at this point knowing that it takes 5 minutes in a car to get to literally anything that’s not another identical house.

Unfortunately, it isn’t. He’s the real dude, as described, and that’s exactly what he looks like

In a recent 2024 study:
…between 2000 and 2019. Over 75 % of all married children in each state were girls. Girls married men who were an average of 4 years older than they were, and the age gap was substantially larger when girls married than when boys married.

It’s awesome that one of the best features of my TV, “Find my remote” has been completely broken. Paid extra for the fancy Bluetooth remote and everything, and now it’s completely worthless. Every time I ask, I get “Sorry, I’m not set up to do that” despite it being something that I’ve been doing the past 5 years without issue

I can tell you as someone who read the papers on very early deepfakes and AI video generation with amazement followed by dread, this is going to be feasible on a large scale in a short period of time. Researchers do stuff on an absolute shoestring budget usually, it’s incomparable to what large companies and governments have at their disposal. There are already consumer products that were able to become fairly precise motion sensors with just a firmware update. Next gen devices will be built with motion fingerprinting in mind, I can almost guarantee it.

Not to defend Dementia Donnie here…but as a New Yorker, he probably knows them as bodegas?
I live in Michigan where we’ll call them party stores and corner stores, and I still know what a bodega is. No point in defending him, he’s really just an idiot.

putting his money where his neck is.
Aww, “putting his neck on the line” was right there

Or perhaps a diary farm in Wisconsin? Maybe they didn’t know Kurds was spelled with a “k” and not a “c”.

And you used to be a child, does that mean you still have to play in peewee football? Bodies change after being exposed to hormones, that’s literally what puberty is. Some changes are permanent, but the vast majority aren’t, and I can tell you that the trans dudes I know look nothing like women anymore after a couple years on HRT, and the same goes for the trans women I know.
Would I have been comfortable competing in any competitive women’s leagues in the first 3 months of HRT? Absolutely not, and I fully recognize that would have been bullshit and akin to a cis woman on PEDs. Literally every women’s team org that I’ve been on has not had a single issue with me joining the team or competing against them; it’s literally always men who never gave a fuck about women’s softball or roller derby until trans people became an easy punching bag.
I 100% understand the concern that people have, but I’d much rather us take a scientific approach to things rather than this stupid fear mongering of acting like a male powerlifter is throwing on a wig and destroying all the women’s categories. There are proper ways to handle this rather than blanket bans, and it’s just another way to distract people by scapegoating a minority and infantalizing women at the same time.
This is super common in Utah as well. Illicit drugs/alcohol are bad, but a doctor prescribes opiates so that’s okay! Really hits women hard too since the only purpose you have is as a baby/homemaker, so getting high on prescription drugs is a fun hometime activity, just like it was back in the 50s!

There’s a part of me that wants to believe that Trump is basically a double agent meant to be so blatantly corrupt and awful, taking advantage of every system in the US, that it finally wakes the US up and to realize how fucking awful everything actually is, almost like penetration testing.

I think anti-communist education works much better when a.) the majority of people aren’t suffering massively under capitalism and b.) when you don’t have a collapsing “communist” nation across the pond with which to say “We told you so!”. It’s way easier to point to the wonders of capitalism when you see people pulling themselves out of poverty by working their 9-5 factory job and raising 4 kids on a single income, and much harder when that system is now making you finance a $5 burrito, with interest.

Yeah, generally it just needs an update

Also when oil prices fell off a cliff

Unironically, Senator Armstrong would have been far better than anything we’ve been stuck with in the past 30 years. Starting forever wars, war crimes, shady MIC dealings, and trafficking minors is just par for the presidency at this point, and he at least holds to his principles. Really, he could easily run as a centrist Dem since he wasn’t raping the kids and just making child soldiers from them.

GTs or “Glory tests” have been done quarterly for decades at this point, hence being on GT-255, with the first being 63 years ago when the Minuteman was new. They’re meant to show that we can pull any random sample of our ground-based ICBMs and they’ll function, along with collecting data on how the fleet performs as it ages, among many other things. They have nothing to do with Trump, fortunately.
Germany was another country where, upon trying some chips that were labeled something like “Dangerously Ultra hot” actually made me laugh because they were about as spicy as black pepper.
I had some pretty solidly spicy curries and ramen in Japan though, I definitely think it’s like the US where it’s very regional.
