Huh, this has never happened to me while gaming with a controller.

I would admonish them for not voting, which I consider a civic duty. I actually am in favour of compulsory voting. But I would never blame them for Trump winning because they didn’t vote for him. 77 million Americans did, though. I blame them.

It’s so bizarre to me to direct the blame at anyone than the 77 million people who actively voted for Trump. Trump doesn’t win if 77 million people don’t vote for him.

Don’t be ridiculous. FIFA doesn’t just hand out their prestigious, respected peace prize to anyone.

Hence my last sentence.

No need for that. A veto can be overturned by Congress entirely and a unanimously passed bill should be quite easy to accomplish that with. In a normal functioning democracy, at least.

I switched to Linux, so obviously I don’t either.

I appreciate the thorough response and the attempt to help, truly I do. But I feel like it’s kind of missed the point a bit.
I actually run a home server, have written some scripts here and there for the server (particularly backup scripts), use VMs and have figured out pass through; my point is that I’m not completely clueless here, while still not exactly being a power user. Even though I’ve done that stuff, and have that knowledge, it’s not a fun user experience for me. When I open my Bluetooth settings, I want it to just work. I don’t want to have to dig into the terminal and troubleshoot stuff.
Windows sucks for a lot of reasons, but I at least, personally, never had issues with Bluetooth or HDR.

I cannot for the life of me get HDR working consistently across games on my CachyOS rig. So I would say true. I also find Bluetooth is my biggest pain point for now. I seem to only be able to connect to stuff from the command line. Some Linux hardcores here might roll their eyes at that complaint, but I’m not afraid to admit that I prefer a GUI.

It’s funny. I also was very hesitant to make the jump from Windows, but finally did in 2025. I was dual booting for a while until I realized I hadn’t been into the Windows one in months because it was a pain in the ass for various reasons. So I just got rid of it.
I’ve made peace with the fact that I won’t be able to play certain games. Their loss; there’s plenty of other games to buy with my money.

It’s quite different from Jusant. I found Jusant to be to arcade racers what Cairn is to simulation racers. Jusant was like a puzzle game with a climbing aesthetic, whereas I found Cairn to be truly about the climbing.

It’s basically israel vs israel.
If you don’t count all the Palestinians dying.

I played the demo for Cairn and genuinely can’t remember the last time I had a sense of accomplishment in a game that compared to teaching the top of the demo climb… And then the reveal of how much farther you’d go in the full game. It was very exciting for me. A very novel, interesting experience for me.
As for Witchbrook, I love Stardew Valley and magical fantasy, so that is looking like a no brainer.

Genuinely stoked for Cairn and Witchbrook.

No it wasn’t quite the same looking. It’s not like a 3d platform game from what I recall, more like an old school dungeon crawler/adventure. 3d was a bad way to describe it, I should just have linked the trailer lol

Well, no, that’s not all that you said.

Here’s hoping you’re right.

I plan on celebrating that illustrious day, but I do think we need to temper expectations a bit. I am truly not convinced it will actually change much. Trump is a symptom not the mastermind.

Seemed like you attacked a position that I did not take. If I misunderstood, then my bad.
