Didn’t the original GTA/RDR writers leave after finishing RDR2 anyway? Another worry I have is that this game will have none of the story/writing that made the previous games great, and is just a Rock star cash grab because they own the IP.

Again, the target audience loves that shit. I don’t know if you’ve watched a game lately, but most of the advertisements now are split pretty evenly between:
The NFL is a money-making machine, and it knows its audience. If they’re doing this, they know their base will eat it up, and I 100% agree. Many people who haven’t tuned in to a game in years will tune in to watch just to show support.
Truly, this is how fucked we are.
Unfortunately not. Their fans love this shit, seriously. Remember they’re the same fans who went feral during the kneeling demonstrations.
I definitely get it. Ecological fallout keeps me up in cold sweats more nights than not. I’m not sure most people realize how bad it could get, either. All the trees in the world don’t make enough oxygen to replace the oxygen we’d need if the cyanobacteria in the ocean dies out, and it’s getting perilous with the acidification of the ocean.
That said, I do still see raising a child well as an act of hope for the future. As a parent, that’s my most important mission. Could they possibly die/suffer? Yes, but unfortunately that’s a risk that all parents run by having a child (and all people run by being alive), no matter what the cause turns out to be. Climate disaster, leukemia, car wreck, it all nets the same thing— pain and suffering for your child. I guess I just take the stance of the Man and the Boy in the Road: we’re the ones that carry the fire, and we have to keep carrying it to keep hope and other good things alive.
I’m not saying everyone needs to have kids though! It’s rewarding, but this shit is hard as fuck. It’s not for everyone. Hell, it wasn’t for me until I aged about three decades and did serious work on myself. Adoption is also an option, though harder to do than most people think unfortunately :/
While many beautiful things are passing away, that implies that there aren’t still beautiful things here worth fighting for. I see value in bringing new people into the world and helping them love it and it’s life like I do. The world needs more people who care fighting for it, not less.

You’re missing the context of WHEN THEY ARE the targets. Women are more often on the receiving end for both. Just because one gender gets one type of violence more often, still doesn’t mean they receive more instances of it over the other.
Read this whole thing and tries to shift the focus to himself and how it makes him feel. Amazing. Bear please.
Well somebody’s about to get added to a Signal chat
I got a kobo recently and like it a lot. I got the sage because the screen is about the size of a manga page, which I knew I would be reading a lot of. I keep it in airplane mode most of the time and use Calibre to load it up. The system works well for me
Okay, but maybe specify that next time. The masses won’t buy used stuff unless prompted, and a blanket statement of ‘it’s okay to like Harry Potter’ without any nuance attached is just gonna give people permission to feel comfortable buying merch, games, Lego, other branded shit which goes directly to her pocket book.
But it isn’t when it comes to Harry Potter. The reason I made the comparison is that JK Rowling is also a billionaire using her wealth to influence legislation against trans people. They are more similar than they are different. Buying Harry Potter stuff puts money directly into her pockets to further her TERF goals.
Michael Jackson is a bit more gray.
Bethesda isn’t the one remaking it
So it’s okay to still like and want to buy a Tesla?
I tend to agree. Plus, wasn’t ancient Egyptian pretty consonant heavy, with scientists basically filling in the blanks with vowels so we can more easily read/pronounce it? That’s another reason, IMO, to lean towards soft g/j… I’m just flying blind with vibes as my guide mostly, tho, I’m definitely no expert
Edit: even if the ‘j’ was pronounced as a ‘y’, being that close to the ‘d’ basically makes the whole thing moot when it comes to pronunciation. Said quickly (like calling—or scolding lol) a pet, both pronunciations sound quite similar
This has happened to our cat who managed to scramble up to a shelf in front of our big bay window in our living room. He was trying to swat at bugs that will occasionally bump into it from outside. Our shelf is twice as wide as this one, and he still lost his footing :/
Ours isn’t as high up as this one, thankfully, and we keep a cushioned rug and dog beds directly underneath it that he landed on, so he wasnt hurt. But yeah, this one would make me nervous.
'Course, they know their cat’s disposition best, maybe they’re super chill and never move very fast/suddenly. Would just hate for someone to try this and have their kitty get hurt
Fair enough, I just like languages so I’m more interested to satisfy my own curiosity, haha
I was just wondering about pronunciation to do the same! Would it be nehd-jehm with the ‘j’ pronounced like in ‘gem’? Or would it be nehd-yehm? With the ‘j’ sounding like a ‘y’? My instinct says the first for ancient Egyptian, but pronunciation of things can surprise us
Weirdly appropriate username lol
Was this the fish passing after a few minutes, hours, days? If you remember at all. Was there any controlling for gill damage during the catch? I know some idiots who will hold them up by the gills for pictures, I wonder if that causes damage? Or just dying from shock? I wonder if I can find the study
