Relax, guy

Evil genius has a soundtrack that fits it perfectly. That game has such a good vibe, like playing The Incredibles if they were trying to take over the world
This illustration should be on a bank note
To shreds, you say?

What’s the minus of 30 and 20?
Uh, it’s 80, Frito. It’s $80 billion.

Oooh I might look into that once my 3310 dies

There are missions but they’re different. You need to buy a kit first that’ll let you do a certain kind of mission, for example a kit to find special herbs that you bring to a particular character.
Money is more scarce and it is split between “regular” money and gold. Gold gets you good stuff like fancy horses or outfits or kits, but it is rare in the game, unless you pay real money for it.
All that said, there are a lot of people modding and playing online can be quite chaotic, with random objects becoming attached to you, animals spawning, massive explosions, invincible people, etc. But some people are also benevolent and will protect you, especially if you have a low level, and may even gift you stuff.
Anyway, I’d recommend you give it a shot, it’s a way to play with the characters and places you know but in a different way.
Hostile takeover is what that looks like

In case you were also wondering:
This newly uncovered button command allows players to exit any stage and return to the game’s map screen, even if they haven’t completed the level yet.
The Cheat Code:
To activate this cheat, players need to pause the game and press the following sequence:
Right + Y Left + A Up + B Down + X
You gotta make sure to leave room for the crucial bean antenna

These kinds of images make me wish I had studied chaos theory, they are so fascinating
You know, they’re not even that noticeable on your face
