No country is a monolith of thought. There is opposition to genocide but without a majority there isn’t much they can functionally do.
Knowing apple fans, it will work.
Usually for large businesses like universities IT can choose when to push updates.
Might just be internet/human behavior really.
Because humans have more accountability. Also it has implications for military/police use of self-guided stuff.
Yeah but that is less likely to have more sex.
And Trump would “finish the problem” https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-israel-gaza-finish-problem-rcna141905
And Nikki Haley wrote “finish them” on an Israeli missile.
Just a reminder the GOP isn’t a better option here. We need to primary out the corpos on both sides but presidentially there isn’t a anti-genocide candidate that has a chance.
The rest of their politics are important as well.
They stopped being hosted by the league of women voters in 1988 because both political parties wanted to be able to frame the debates as they wished and as such started sponsoring their own debates and tried to impose several restrictions on how LWV debates would be ran. As a result LWV backed out of presidential debates but they still sponsor other debates.
1988 to 2020 presidential debates were run by the “commission on presidential debates” basically a nonprofit co-founded and run by both the DNC and RNC. This year both campaigns opted out of the CPD debates and are only doing 2 at all, one sponsored by CNN and the other by ABC. Last year debates were a shitshow so it’s not exactly surprising.
Short answer is no, not long-term.
Because a bunch of government and business uses 10 and they really don’t want “Recall AI” in there for a plethora of reasons.
No, this could pass because rich folk can set their kids up even better while simultaneously avoiding income tax. Ain’t the average single parent that can put multiple thousands per year towards child accounts (e.g. 529) after contributing 30k+/y (23k 401, 7k ira, and brokerage) to their own retirement.
Well, I’ll be long dead before we get a Farnsworth drive running off dark matter.
The rich go international more than most. And boats are a heck of a lot slower than planes.
Hey, maybe when the rich (who fly a heck of a lot) start getting a little uncomfy we can actually do something about that climate change thing.
Yes, as I said theoretically. If/by the time this heavily theoretical engine comes to fruition there will probably be ways to detect asteroids better than we have now. Also materials/structural design that are better than what we have now for sustaining the smaller hits. Maybe quantum prediction scanning, maybe a forcefield. Who knows by then.
Most of space is empty, analysis of the path beforehand and a structure that can withstand the smaller objects is really all that’s necessary. But those are just as theoretical as this engine.
So the brain organoid grew normally after thawing and kept the phenotypes tested (normal and epilepsy).
Organoid is very different from a full organ or organism though. Useful for research, extreme doubt for any clinical utility though.
Hey man some people are into that, no need to kink shame.
So long as it isn’t their own, yeah, probably.
