Privacytools.io actively promotes VPN services that advertise heavilly on YouTube, and have no good track record, like NordVPN (which is at the top of their list of VPNs), which leads me to believe that they are paid by NordVPN to promote their service.
Mullvad (the most trustworthy VPN IMO in terms of track record) is at the bottom of their list.
At the top of their main website, they also have Incogni as a recommendation with what looks to be a referral link. They also have a referral link for Startmail, Internxt (whatever that is), and probably others as well.
On their front page: “Sponsors can be exempted from the criteria.”
Anyone trying to recommend privacy services who also accept sponsorships are not trustworthy.
Also, on their crypto page, they recommend both AgoraDesk and LocalMonero, both of which shut down last year, which leads me to believe that some of their information is also out of date.
When I look at PrivacyGuides, I see none of these issues, so I recommend PrivacyGuides over ptio. In fact, on their VPN page, not only do they recommend relatively trustworthy VPNs, but they also have a big red warning about VPN usage and what to expect in terms of privacy that ptio does not have.
I already thought Obama getting a Nobel peace prize after his massive drone warfare in the Middle East and Africa made that whole organization a joke. Trump getting it would be so much of a step beyond “a joke” that I don’t even know what to call it.
More like Putin and Netanyahu specifically (now also Bukele). Trump doesn’t give two shits about the people of either Russia, Israel, or El Salvidor (and niether do Putin, Netanyahu, or Bukele).
Trump has massive respect for people who seek and take power over people, since that’s who he seeks to be.
“Peace through strength” has been the American motto since at least the War of 1812; it’s just that Trump is also incredibly stupid and incompetant.
Wait, I got one!
Let’s see… Trump. Intelligence. Trump lacking intelligence…
Nah, I got nothing.
Always has been unless you count modding to remove this kind of shitty DRM.
Nintendo was the company to popularize DRM in home consoles with the US release of the NES. The Famicom had no DRM even though it was identical hardware otherwise (well, that, the RF modulator, and the PCB layout).
Fart of the deal
Identical in the US, except the Nazi Party of America already won and is currently in power.
Chuck Schumer lmao
It’s not just AIPAC that’s the main problem (although it absolutely is a problem); the Democrats and Republicans both get massive amounts of “donations” from large PACs (including AIPAC), corporations, billionaires, etc. that they choose to represent them by any means necessary, since that’s who they get their paycheck from.
The only way to fix corruption for good is to permenantly make it so that corruption can never happen to begin with. Few individuals/stock traders shouldn’t be allowed to own/influence these massive corporations; they need to all be forcibly converted to worker-owned coops (which will also abolish the stock market), and we also need a hard wealth cap (something like $50 million tied to inflation in both liquid and non-liquid assets). Imagine if you got to both vote for who your manager is and also vote to fire them if they do a bad job.
Any system that is still capitalist by nature (like social democracy) will still have an elite few who are able to buy influence. Capitalism actively encourages this to occur by its very nature (as pro-capitalists would say: “greed is good”)
AIPAC is more of a symptom of a larger problem.
Or if Florida didn’t rig the 2000 election for Bush, or if the Supreme Court never ruled that money = speech and corporations = people, or if Nixon didn’t snuff out the hippie movement with the War on Drugs, or if the FBI never killed MLK Jr. for him being a socialist, or if Ronald Reagan and Joe McCarthy were unsuccessful in their Red Scare movement in the 1950s, or if FDR didn’t compromise with capitalists and went full socialist instead.
There are lots of things to point to.
The Heritage Foundation is not new; their last big project was Ronald Reagan, and they were very successful in destroying the economy in the long run. That also started us down this path that got us to Trump to begin with.
Trump would never have happened if there wasn’t mass amounts of economic hardship.
I think “evil” is a better word to describe them.
Not only are you personally more competant than anyone in this administration, but you’re also not a Nazi (I’d imagine), which alone already makes you better than any Republican politician.
The fact that you think you might not be competant at the job is one of the things that makes you more competant (because you actually think before you act/speak).
I doubt a single one of our Democratic party elected officials actually sat down and read all of Project 2025.
You can fix that with a mod that disables Nanite.
Yeah, but those phrases can apply to a whole lot of things.
I can use dd after running “lsdvd” on CSS protected DVDs.
I have no idea why it works.
