I personally don’t break spaghetti, but a friend of mine once asked what difference it would make for taste and consistency, and i didn’t have an answer.

14·3 months agoI’d say there is a healthy debate to be had about this.
The thing that is actually concerning is that it came out of Trumps mouth out of the blue, so there is a non zero chance there is a reason beyond the pro and cons of this.

6·8 months agoFor AI processing, I don’t think it would make much difference if it lasted longer. I could be wrong, but afaik, running the actual transformer for AI is done in VRAM, and staging and preprocessing is done in RAM. Anything else wouldn’t really make sense speed and bandwidth wise.

politics @lemmy.world•Trump threatens to send American citizens to El Salvador prison
9·9 months agoI hope you’re right, but they will likely try. And the Rule of law has been eroded more and more. They already openly defied a court order to send Venezuelan people to the El Salvador work camp. They gloated about it, too.
And that was all without due process. Some even had hearings scheduled and still got deported into slavery.
Now that he successfully tested the waters with this, I’m not so sure about trusting the rule of law in the US.

Yeah, they did this shit in his first term already. “Please continue to do nothing and everything will be alright! This time for realsies!”
