As someone who manufactures stuff, I can attest that we’re almost all looking at other countries, not standing up US manufacturing.

Standing up manufacturing in the US takes too long and costs too much for us to do when we’re going into a recession.

I think most of the “requirements” they’re referring to are the technical ones, not governmental.

North America’s residential HVAC landscape is pretty simply and dumb compared to a lot of what is happening in Europe. Dumb forced central air systems dominate residential HVAC.

Americans were majority positive when it was all about slowing crossings, but they’re not down with deporting documented people, deporting people without judicial review, accusing people of gang crimes because they’re brown and have tattoos, or throwing people into gulags.

Trump is scared about his polls on immigration and he likely wants whitehouse protesters to protest with this in the background.
