I installed Gamescope and Heroic instantly recognized it. I also enabled force grab mouse and in game it still does not work. the camera is bounded to the arrow keys which makes me think is the prob. I cannot unbound them nor set them to mouse movements. I can however set it to scroll and my side buttons which is lowkey an ugly solution.

I tested SteamDeck=1 as it can alleviate some problems with certain games. Marvel Rivals wouldn’t launch w/o it. so I thought perhaps it’s a thing w the GOWR not recognizing mouse movements through Proton. ofc SteamDeck=1 runs the game in Steam Deck mode but for the sake of testing fuck it.

I tested w my DS4 and the game was working fine just w M&K does mouse panning not work.

no no no. not on the Deck. I’m on desktop Arch (I forgot to mention). all other games I’ve played were totally fine. just finished God of War 2018 the day b4 yesterday.

I read on Reddit somewhere that just for this game they’re doing M&K to controller emulation.

I clicked RMB and LMB and Kratos does the attack animation but after that still locked to the same camera angle.
