12 days agoI can see that on the coast, but I don’t think the eastern 2/3 of the state (though under half the population) would go along with it.

I’m all for CA residents paying their federal taxes to the state, but that’s going to require a lot of faith that the state will protect them from the feds.
They can’t, you pay taxes directly to the government.
