Hype! I loved Noragami but I never picked up the manga so I’m happy to get more of it.

Disagree, without IP laws whoever has the most money can crush all competition. An example of this is how the first pump hand soap softsoap couldn’t patent the hand pump design because it already existed so they just bought all the existing stock to prevent anyone from releasing a competing product.
If you get rid of IP laws you’ll just further entrench the existing winners.
Write a good book? Without copyright, Penguin random house publishes an exact copy at a higher quality and sells a million copies while you sell a handful to discerning fans.
Build a quality product? Without trademark, proctor and gamble flood the market using your brand name and nobody can distinguish their products from yours even though their quality is much worse.
Invent something revolutionary? Without patents you have to keep your process a secret so you don’t get copied. If you get hit by a bus your invention is now lost to society forever unless someone manages to reverse-engineee it.
Not before abolishing capitalism or you’re just making things worse.
Well TIL.
profound misunderstanding of how surround sound worked
You got me, I didn’t know anyone who even owned a surround sound setup in the gamecube era.
That came out on GameCube back when we were all still using composite cables that didn’t support surround anyway.
Edit: Apparently I was misinformed, still KAR was such a casual arcadey game that I’m sure it got more benefit out of quick startup than it would have from surround support.
I stopped watching a couple episodes in, the animation was cool at times but that wasn’t enough to hold my interest.
Voidtools “Everything” is how we mimic a fraction of your power thank-you-very-much.
It will be funny when all the LLMs start posting it in their responses at least.
The leak didn’t include phone numbers or emails but I’m sure there will be attempts at spear phishing businesses since they can figure out the business name from the physical address.
He generally comes off as a nice person but he’s pretty irresponsible and ableist. People always want to build up images of celebrities but they’re just human beings with flaws like anyone else.

I absolutely cannot comprehend why a normal pokemon battling system wasn’t included.
Because it doesn’t fit the design of the game.
Pokemon Go is meant to be played while walking around outside. This means you can’t have a lot of text because glare from the sun will make it too hard to read. The real battle system also requires more congnitive load than most people can handle while walking and takes too long which will lead to people stopping for extended periods of time at which point you’re no longer playing a pedometer game.
That’s so cool, I love it!
Pokemon is second-party, the publisher (Nintendo) owns part of the IP but they don’t own the developer (Gamefreak).
I get that you’ve got good intentions, but this reads like an email I would find my spam folder and I can’t imagine it would inspire any reddit mods to move over to Lemmy. The mods who were so dissatisfied with Reddit that they would be willing to migrate with the information in this script have already done so.
There are likely be some who might be willing to migrate if they get personal support from an instance admin or some other tangible offer of assistance, but nobody is going to jump ship just because “Reddit Bad” anymore.
Tablets are cheaper and lighter than laptops so if someone just wants to watch videos while traveling or commuting, a tablet is often a better option than a laptop.
Takes up less pocket space and the primary screen is more protected.
Love, Chunibyo, and other Delusions would probably be right up your alley, it’s a similarly wholesome romcom about a girl who pretends to have magical powers and a guy dealing with constant second-hand embarrassment at being associated with her.
That time I got reincarnated as a Slime is an iskeai where the main character uses their incredible powers to build a wholesale community.
Monthly Girls’ Nozaki Kun is a hilariously awkward romcom about a girl who tries to confess to her crush, only for him to completely misunderstand her and think she’s a fan who’s discovered that he’s secretly a popular shojou manga artist.
Komi can’t communicate is a romcom about a girl who everyone assumes is soft-spoken because she’s beautiful, elegant, and perfect but actually has such crippling social anxiety that she can’t manage to speak to anyone. She’s felt isolated her whole life untill a boy who’s really good at reading social situations (to the point that he’s basically psychic) figures out what’s up and decides to be her first friend and help her make more friends.
Nichijou is one of the more wacky wholesome slice of life comedies without much plot. See also: Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star.
Spy x Family is hilarious and wholesome show about a spy who needs to create a fake family to prevent a war. He can’t let his family know he’s a spy but unbeknownst to him, the orphan girl he adopts secretly has psychic powers and immediately knows about his mission. He marries a woman who’s secretly an assassin using the marriage to appear less conspicuous under the pretense of needing a fake wife to get his daughter into a nice school. They then proceed to do adorable wholesome family stuff together while trying to hide their identities from each other and telling themselves they aren’t enjoying being a family as much as they are.
I don’t know if they let you browse postings without an account but LinkedIn is the easiest way to find gamedev postings. You could also check out https://jobs.gamedeveloper.com/. Another option is to go to the website for a studio you’d like to work at and check if they have any postings there.
There aren’t any meetings that are part of Agile. The point of Agile is that you’re supposed to let teams self-organize and define their own process through iteration but managers hate that so they issue a top-down mandate to implement the Scrum process without allowing anyone outside of management to change it in any way and call it “Agile”.
