1·21 hours agoUsing a control group would tell us if there’s any gain from the supplements whatsoever, was basically my point. For the average person using supplements doesn’t do much for weight gain as far as I hear, so that’s why I was asking what kind of people these subjects were, if they were athletes or regular people doing weight training. So, it does matter.

I hope there was a control group who had a placebo supplement.

1·2 days agoThat’s not the point, the point is how long it is to ship fucking pears halfway around the globe, twice. Imagine the stuff you’d need to smear on those pears to keep them fresh, or how unripe they’d need to be when harvesting.
I’m not talking about how efficient sea shipping is vs flying or driving.

And supplements are largely unnecessary, so this study says absolutely bupkis.

Maybe if you ship it from the very South of Argentina (maybe they do?), otherwise it’s a significant detour to go around South America whichever way you go.
Shapez 2 was great. I got into last night. Lovely and relaxing. No stress, no resource management, no time limits, no enemies. Just cozy thinking about production and how to optimize. Right up my alley.
