Really which company do you have more than 1 vote per share or have more than 5%? Very few people are given either.

The stock market is how pensions are funded. That means the largest loss of wealth to the middle class.
You don’t want the stock market destroyed. That is how retirements are funded as well.
You want to restrict ownership of an individual stock. Limit them to 5% or so. Also make every stock have 1 vote, no exceptions.
Wal-Mart does a lot of things I don’t agree with. Their labor practices along with their sourcing and many other things make them the last place I will shop.
I sound agree price isn’t always the best factor to determine a monopoly.
Walmart use to go into a town, sell everything cheap and drive everything else out of business.
It’s one of the many reason I hate Walmart.
Growing up we have a cool downtown area. It wasn’t big but had a bunch of small stores. They all closed within a year of Walmart.
I mean yes but in the case no.
Most customers are not demanding it.

That isn’t what I said at all. It’s weird that you would come to that conclusion. What I clearly said is his change is just repeating what he was told to say. I don’t think his views changed, he is just repeating what people want to hear.
Old captain crunch is another one that turned out to be a weirdo
I would say it’s not a sincere change. It’s groupthink.
Well the skit keeps getting smaller and smaller
I had never heard that about him. That’s disappointing.
You could, but the OP is talking about the people who became filthy rich or at least notable. I don’t know if Tom ever made any real money. Almost all of the people listed used their corporate power to smash competition and dominate the market.
If anything, Stallman is the antithesis of most of these people.
Stallman is a notable figure in the industry but he was never the leader of a large tech company. That’s probably why he’s a decent guy
I think it’s easier to name the people who have been decent in tech. Woz seems like a decent guy.
Ted Waite all in all was decent. Not perfect but decent.
I mean…how much agency did she really have? Most likely none.
What I find odd is why wait so long? She is 99. Is this justice for anyone at this point? In the news, several people in their 90s were charged with crimes during WW2. It just seems oddly late, as you said, performative.
The level of subscriptions has become insane
This wasn’t to clients. This was to partners. Middlemen in the transaction process.
You can’t buy most software directly from the vendor. You have to buy through a partner. They pass the paperwork and add 10-20%. They do provide some services but their main function is to pass paper.
Could you imagine 10 dollars for fucking your month up and then when you use it. It’s canceled ?
It wasn’t sent to the customers. It was sent to the partners. Crowdstrike sells in the partner model.
Pensions are funded by the stock market as well. Pension funds are some the largest landlords as well.
