There’s also a hazard of cognitive self-harm in willingly using them in place of thinking. When your boss slop-bombs you, try actually reading it and then talking to them in person. See if they even know what they said, they might get scared straight.

That might be a viable defense in one scenario, but as a global approach in the context of everything currently happening, it feels more like a “tools of the enemy” issue. I realise that. I’m reading that energy densities will have to be around 800wh/kg for planes to rely entirely on battery power, but there are shorter distance planes already using battery power. With how quickly solid state batteries recharge, I don’t see why planes couldn’t just stop more often. It’s a small price to pay for zero emission flights.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t this be great for electric commercial flights?
