What I do is point out how others oppression can also effect them and the people they care about.

With immigration for example a lot of people don’t care that the immigrants don’t get any due process before being deported / locked in a concentration camp.

I used to work customer service for a mail order pharmacy and about every 1-2 weeks I would get a phone call from somebody threatening to commit suicide because they could no longer afford their medication most often this was for insulin.

When I worked at Walmart people were constantly ripping open the underwear packages and throwing them all over the place and we would have to repackage them every day

They did steal them too a lot of the times only one from a pack (if you have to steal underwear please take the whole thing not just one)

I haven’t logged in to facebook for a long time and when I tried they wanted my government ID or else they wouldn’t let me into my account.

I don’t want to give Facebook my ID so I’m not sure how I can delete my account without doing that.

In all likelihood the business is just going to throw away the plant props and they were going to be wasted anyways. So I don’t see the problem with taking them
