I had a pre-MAGA family member say to me “holidays are for Christians, you should have to work!” This is the level of intellect that will control our lives for the foreseeable future.
It’s a distinct lack of understanding given that Jews also have a sabbath day and so does Islam (sorta, it’s a day of increased prayer but not literally a day of res) literally every Abrahamic religion I can think of has a sabbath.
Every MAGA is going to volunteer to work on Saturdays, and every holiday, right? Dear Leader requires it.
