No, I do not care about “traditional family values”, I care about the commodification of bodily autonomy. “Traditional family values” as this author alludes to have never protected those, especially not for women and girls. This just happens to be the first place I heard about this, since most left publications have chosen to abdicate their role in reporting on such things (such as the UN deciding that we need laws to protect pimping + actively encourage prostitution + refer to child sex slaves as “sexual child labor” or whatever (I do not need to elaborate on what needs to be done about such people, presumably?)).
The main argument being made here is “porn make taxes and GDP go up” which you should be familiar with by now. Generally these kinds of laws are used to create legal protection for pimping.
