Donald Trump has come to the defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi amid an all-out revolt among his MAGA base over the administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

But his effort over the weekend to quell the outrage only seemed to add fuel to to the fire.

Fall in line, sycophants. Fall in line. Your master has spoken, he’s very disappointed in you for not falling in line. Just suck it up and do what you’re told. Nothing to see here. Fall in line.

“He encouraged both Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel to focus on other things he deems as a priority, like voter fraud or the 2020 election.”. So his highest FBI priority is basically trying to relitigate his loss in 2020?

He’s a sore loser whose pettiness and insecurity know no bounds. He’ll never emotionally recover from that loss, and the only way he can cope is to get everyone else to agree that he didn’t, in fact, lose.

Remember, this is the guy who, after a journalist called him a ‘short-fingered vulgarian’, mailed him photographs of himself with his hands circled and notes like ‘See, not so short!’ for 25 years.

So, if he actually won in 2020, does it mean that he has been unlawfully elected for a third mandate in 2025? /s

His main priority is establishing that the US elections are a sham being manipulated by the Left, so that his administration can step in and take appropriate measures to ensure the security of future elections as things go forward towards the midterms.

They are sycophants. They do not have any actual convictions, those are dictated to them by Trump. The most fervent supporters have already fallen in line, with the rest to follow shortly.

Trump: First it’s Jeffrey this and Epstein that. The dead guy woln’t die and now they’re talking about some Streisand woman I’ve never even heard of. This is ridiculous! Did you ever hear of anything so ridiculous? Terrible. Sad.

It’s definitely an admission, but also, I’m pretty sure he’s panicking because he knows it’s either going leak soon and/or there will be congressional hearings in which Bondi, Bonjino, and even Maxwell will have to testify under oath (Maxwell has already said she’s willing to testify – the late-night GOP scramble yesterday was related to this).

He’s trying to poison the well with his usual ‘lügenpresse’ schtick.

Congressional hearings? Seriously? Don’t you know what party is in charge of Congress now? The midterms are a long way off, I can’t imagine this keeping steam until then. Plus, the Dems also would expose some of their favorites, no way they do it either if they took both houses off Congress.

    MAGA Revolt

We’ve been here before. The Wingnut Wurlitzer just needs a bit more time to spin up and explain why this is all Killary Killington’s fault.

By 2026, they’ll all be back in line again.

      This is a good thing.

Don’t start with the woe is me stuff when we are finally causing real damage to the cult.

Let’s see how much ground we can continue to gain.

Trump has never been ratioed (more comments than likes) on Truth Social before - he just was here. There is something different going on here and an anger that’s lasted longer than normal. Can’t fully predict the future here, but this is not typical MAGA dissent. This seems like it will leave a wound

Even if most of the MAGA base goes back to forgetting about this, just 10-20% not doing the same would have a real impact

I don’t want to get my hopes up, but there is a very real possibility that there’s a lot of cognitive dissonance building up in the base between what their parents and society taught them was being a decent fucking human being and all the stances they’ve had to rationalize in order to believe they’re right to have supported Trump. That tension makes them unhappy and makes them double down on the more immediate, more personal decisions again and again.

But once you give them an out, a way to justify a correction to say “well I was for him when he was just ‘telling it like it is’ but now that I found out he’s a pedophile, well now mama didn’t raise me to let a sin like that slide…”

I’m hoping this breaks open the floodgates.

Anything other than radical transparency is just going to look like a cover-up. And even that will probably not satisfy Trump’s army of mouth breathers.

We can only hope that this is what pulls the Trump Coalition apart. It’s a hard thing, though. They’re a bunch of knuckleheads!
