Gee, if only we had a majority we were willing to use. Oh well, at least we still have the Holy Filibuster that we’re just as unwilling to use.
And before some centrist pipes up with their usual “our hands were tied like we like them! We didn’t have enough to break the filibuster!” We could have ended the filibuster forever with 50 votes. We had 50 seats. Centrists didn’t want to. They still don’t want to. They’re happy having the filibuster and never using it because they know their republican buddies will use it to block progressive policy for them.
