While celebrities are unlikely to decisively shift whom many people choose to vote for, their endorsement of a political candidate can still help shape an election.

That kid is still around after 25 years? Some things never change. Is he still scratching NIN logos into the desks and pulling out hentai in class he printed out in the library?

Maybe his endorsement pushes them away from Trump? Idk, though, I’ve met some right wing young people that I wouldn’t be surprised to learn listen to his music or at least follow him on social media. This idea that millennials, zoomers, and gen alpha do not have significant amounts of far right assholes is deeply misguided.

You’re right. You have to be older millennial at least to have grown up with that.

That’s the point. Kid Rock was edgy back in like 1999 or something. Now he’s middle aged and sad.

I don’t know who Charli is. But Kid Rock is contributing about 1% to that number. If he’s contributing at all.

I don’t know about nowadays but when I was young any peers I had which would go vote would not take any artists views in with their decision. Those who would take it into account had a maybe non zero chance they would vote that was so close to zero as to be zero.

Huh? I’m saying there are many fans so devout about swift that if she said jump, they’d say how high

I acknowledge actually getting out to vote takes work, I’m layering on that there are absolutely personalities with such pull that they would motivate certain folks to act

Maybe. Again I find this type to say they will, totally mean to, but then don’t follow through.
