So we’re just going to take a comedian who is totally under the control of UA Nazis and US financial barons at his word? This is either a blindingly stupid lie, or the US and NATO are preparing for a false flag attack which could well lead to nuclear war. I know they’re getting desperate, but we have to hope that they know where the line is.

That’s a false dichotomy. Russia has been threatening to use nukes all the time. Threatening to blow up a reactor is just more of the same.

That’s simply not true. Russian nuclear policy is exclusively retaliatory. They haven’t been making threats, but simply reminding the warmongers of the west that there are lines which must not be crossed. This has been the Russian and Soviet nuclear policy since they developed nuclear weapons technology. The threats are coming from the west, namely the US which does have a first strike policy. The US continues to threaten Russia by stationing nuclear weapons ever closer to Russia’s borders. It’s almost like nobody knows why the “Cuban” Missile Crisis started.

If anyone in the west would actually listen to Putin and Lavrov instead of putting words in their mouths, we’d all be pretty clear on what second strike nuclear policy means by now, as well as what the Russian objectives are. Instead we’re taking obvious western atrocity propaganda at face value and not even bothering to ask the very basic question of who gains by telling this story.

We can only hope this story is “just” WMDs in Iraq or babies in incubators levels of atrocity propaganda myth making, and not Gulf of Tonkin level false flag preparation. Then again the US side has already executed many of their previously prepared false flag attacks in this war. Hopefully the MacArthurs in the room don’t win this time.

"If detonated, they would not damage the reactors but would create an image of shelling from the Ukrainian side,” the statement on Telegram said. It said the Ukrainian army stood “ready to act under any circumstances”.

In his nightly video message, Zelenskiy said Russia was planning to “simulate an attack” on the plant. “But in any case, the world sees – and cannot fail to see – that the only source of danger to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is Russia. And no one else.”

Zelenskiy and the Ukrainian military provided no evidence for their assertions"

Judging from the comments, he could probably finance that entire war just by selling bridges to liberals -_-

How is the Russian propaganda attempting to frame that? “Ukrainians are Nazis and so we took over their nuclear power plant because we (though we) could. Now they want to destroy it, incurring an immense ecological impact to mostly themselves, because if they can’t have it, better be dead too”?

Why would Russia blow up the NPP when they’re winning the war? This is another atrocity by the Ukrainian military to muddy the waters and try to attract yet more international support like the dam bombing.

But… Zaporizhzhia is currently in the status of “temporarily occupied”. It’s on Ukraine’s territory. Since we have to suspend belief because all data we’re getting is propaganda, the possibility that it’s going to be liberated cannot be ruled out just like that.

It would seem to me that Ukraine (i.e. the country where the power plant resides in) stands to lose much more from a nuclear disaster inside their own borders. That they would do that just to get NATO into the conflict more seems more like a conspiracy theory.

Russia has been making the same claims against Ukraine since at least november 2022 in front of the UN.

Such an attack would benefit Ukraine since it’s more likely to cause NATO to get involved. Don’t forget that.
