While I understand your frustration, intuitive UI/UX is ‘real’ and not just a marketing gag. But you have to invest the money and the time to do proper user research.

Facts. I feel like dating apps work great for people who struggle to approach strangers. The people I met with also struggled with this, but are actually super social individuals.

Dunno Hinge works fine for me as a guy. Not many bots and no camgirls. But compared to my gf I have to like more while she can just sit back wait for likes to come in. It’s true tho that the girls liking me match better with what I’m looking for compared to the guys my gf receives. It’s not like super random or proportionally less attractive girls either.

I mean we’re here in the comments to exchange perspectives primarily. Never saw anyone quoting research papers. There’s no rule about forbidding comments to be biased or opinionated. So I’d say our access to any form of potential objective truth, as fundamental basis for discussion, is fairly limited. World news is not only about scientifically validated facts. It’s rather a fast paced informational feed, where you have to balance speed and factual quality.

And we had context for the anticar lobby comment, so it’s not like the person said: look, here is the irrefutable truth from an independent source. They rather said: Look here are some reasons for why XYZ is bad.

I’m not sure if you know what objective truth means, but why would you expect it from an anticar lobby sub? Like, it’s a political movement… not a scientific research facility? It’s not their goal to be objective, but to push for change. Not saying the things they stated are wrong, but they are first and foremost moral statements.

Ahh nahja dann musst du nur die anderen Kommentare hier lesen. Man relativiert sie aus einer antifaschistischen Haltung und ich kann das auch gut nachvollziehen. Ich bin dem gegenüber halt eher kritisch und finde, dass manche Leute es sich da zu einfach machen, werwiewo rechtmäßig Prügel verdient hat und sehe Gefahren für die Demokratie, wenn die Gewalt zum neuen Standard wird.

Schon klar. Deswegen würden manche Leute hier ja Gewalt gegen AFD Politiker_innen supporten… weil sie moralisch (antifaschistisch) legitimiert ist. Das war ja im Prinzip auch meine Aussage.

Ich selbst bin auch Supporter der antifaschistischen Sache, aber was die Gewalt gegenüber Personen angeht bin ich kritisch. V.a. weil ich auch schon im persönlichen Umfeld erlebt habe, dass es Unschuldige getroffen hat. Bei manchen Leuten in der Szene ist die Reißleine einfach zu kurz und der Machismo (35:10) zu strong. Plus ich wünsche mir keine politischen Straßenkampf-Zustände zurück, auch wenn das manche Leute gerne romantisieren.
