I wonder how mass deportations would actually work. To me it sounds like seeking out undocumented or potentially undocumented people and detaining them until they are deported or can prove a legal status. It sounds like rounding people up based on some sort of identifying factor. How many people will get detained who shouldn’t be?
There are many people under the age of 25 who do not fully understand what happened on January 6. They are being inundated with news of genocide and how Biden is directly responsible. They do not fully understand what the first Trump presidency was. Only politics junkies seem to understand the threat of project 2025 and plan 47.
We have an entire generation who hate Biden and didn’t see the threat of Trump.

I checked to see if this was on my pixel 6 pro. It wasn’t but I found this.
Not something I installed and not something I would allow.
The uninstall did not appear to work UNTIL I disabled the app and cleared the data.
I’m always using assistant to play music in the car or on home speakers. Gemini isn’t able to do this. I also discovered I can’t use the Gemini app without allowing it to replace the assistant.
I will say I have had similar problems getting assistant to identify songs. It used to work pretty seamlessly.
Against all privacy recommendations I do allow my phone to id music at all times. Nice thing is I have a shortcut to history, it doesn’t always work, bit does most of the time.

You’ve got a few years on me but this is very close to my thoughts whenever I hear someone decry the increase in youth who identify as LGBT+. Could it simply be more teens are more comfortable identifying because there is more acceptance?
There is still a long way to go, but it is better than it was.
I still know people my age who are hiding who they are sexually, in unhealthy or unsatisfying relationships, and that’s just those I know about.

Put an end to this one and for all. Pass a law that requires any entity which files suit on the basis of being a parent holder must show that they use the patent to earn income from sales that are proven to be independent from them and their officers. If the suit is only being filed for easy money, they should be fined heavily.

You are concerned with your data being used to feed a private LLM. the other comment was concerned with three conversations being hidden from the public, more specifically not searchable from the outside and therefore hiding a knowledge repository.
I get both takes but they seem to be in conflict with each other. LLMs are important for accurate and useful AI, but there should also be a way for an open community to block them from consuming their data. It seems we missed a step somewhere. Providing data to an LLM should be opt-in.
I always thought Google Glass looked pretty sleek. Much better than having a full VR set on your face. You had a full field of vision, just a small HUD.

I pay for premium so I can turn off my phone screen or do other things on my phone while listening to videos or music. Not having ads is a bonus. They would probably bug me if I had them. I’ve become indifferent to ads on most other things.
Maybe? People willing to copy and distribute this content will always be around and you will never catch them all. People willing to pay a discount or seek not and find said content will always be around. And there will be those who will watch a show or a movie because it is freely available, who would never pay a dime for it.
They will never end piracy and I’d argue it might actually be bad for business if they did.
