I had to look up what that means. Does it really matter that much? We have fast chargers using A-C cables for phones since far back. Is PD that much better?

USB-c are more convenient and have a wider range of uses.
How? Since USB-C has been around for so long, A-C cables have been the norm from the start. Everyone has them already. I don’t see the downside.
Wait. I thought they were saying it’s annoying that there are now USB-C outlets replacing USB-A, which would be a waste. They actually want USB-C outlets?! I’d guess at least half of all USB-C cables are USB-A to USB-C. There’s absolutely no reason to switch from A-outlets.
Not really bad if you use a power-only cable.
Or a USB condom. But I never really hear about those anymore.
You can use FF’s or Chrome’s cookie files: http://aria2.github.io/manual/en/html/aria2c.html#load-cookies
I would recommend Aria2. It can download several chunks of a file in parallel, resume downloads automatically with a set number of retries, it supports mirrors (maybe not an option for Google Takeout, but for other cases), and it can dpwnload over many different protocols.
Yeah. It’s a good idea to guard against it, but I would still never put spaces in filesnames that I myself choose.
Spaces in file names will always be fiddly though. It’ll work, but it’ll still be wrong, because arguments are space separated, and having spaced file names totally messes with that.

Very much depends on the bread. I wouldn’t refridgerate toast or other super white breads, but moist, dark, kernely ryebreads are supposed to be refrigerated. They dry out super easily otherwise.
It’s UWQHD. It’s higher than fullHD, so it is high def by definition.
Where I’m from, we had a wealth tax, but when it was removed in 2007, it only accounted for 0.43 % of all taxes because it was too easy to avoid.
I got Elder Scrolls: Online last summer when it was free on Epic. I love it! After playing for six months, I knew I wanted more and was willing to pay, so I got the latest chapter bundle (which includes all older chapters) for €19.79 on Steam. Absolutely worth it. I’ve since received two other DLCs for free just for playing the game. The lore of TES is just so good, and the environments in ESO look beautiful. There’s so much story in the quests too, so even if it’s an MMO, I can play it exclusively as a single player game that just happens to have other people in it.
Edit: The game is 10 years old this year, and there is more free stuff because of the anniversary.
And that’s totally fair, in my opinion. Speech has to flow in the language you speak, or you’ll sound like an idiot. As long as people don’t go around claiming to know and teaching others pronunciations for things that they themselves don’t pronounce the way that was intended.
there are examples like VIP where even though we could pronounce it we pronounce each letter individually.
This always seemed a bit weird to me. In Sweden we do pronounce that as a word. Vipp.
Non-acronym initialisms are an exception. I wouldn’t pronounce the letters in German.
Related. I actually thought it was a sun related thing, like a solar flare, in the comic. Turns out it was butterflies.
I did the same. I haven’t switched back yet, but I’m very close. Audio doesn’t continue playback when connecting to Android Auto, the screen shows suggestions instead of the queue, and silence trimming is all-or-nothing. Also, and this is just personal preference, the UI isn’t as intuitive.
That’s more of an Apple issue than a USB issue, imo.
I agree that’s annoying. But again, once the transition started, C-C cables came with A-C adapters. Those still exist.
The size difference is minimal. If you’re saying you can bring a C-C cable but not an A-C cable, I don’t believe you. Reversible is just a matter of flipping it if it’s wrong. USB-A still has up to 30 W. Do you really need fast charging in public outlets? Data is moot, since we’re talking about charging and ideally even using non-data cables to avoid unintentional data transfer.
