Fwiw, I worked at a grocery store produce section when I was younger and we stored both mangoes and apples in the walk-in cooler. Also, cold apple slices are the best, especially with room temp cheese

I feel like cats at least know where to go when it’s loud outside, where to get food/water/rest in the calm, where to get all the pets and lovins before taking off,… I don’t think any animal is ready for bomb shakes but they’ll get to the best place they can faster than we will for protection.
Too attached to their people to leave? How many outlived their adoptive family?
Now, I know nothing about nuthin’, but I would guess any house kitties left behind in active war zone might not have lasted long. This cat in the pic is likely a stray, and he’s seen some shit before any of those assholes even showed up. I bet a lot of house cats did survive, and went on the bring love to a new family as a fellow survivor.

This is the worst thing I’ve read today
This is incredible. I’ve had 2 friends grow up with one of their parents suffering through MS. It is one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen. Imagine eradicating it! I get bummed out nonstop… but, this is truly a giant step forward.
She looks identical to my senior girl Wicket. She’s 20! And very pampered. I don’t know what you call this coloration (SIC/TUX?) but they are always such incredible kitties.

Now that I know YOU’RE not going to DO ANYTHING when someone breaks in and just messes with YOUR STUFF makes me now concerned about MY STUFF and it’s SAFETY HERE
Gonna give that asshole some hatescritches
I don’t think so, she only does that after the shower has been running. I think condensation builds on the handle. Vet says she’s in perfect health so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I considered moving this hefty tome from the video as a gesture of humility, then thought to myself, what kind of scholar am I, who feels the need to hide my savoir-vivre?
I was having some problems with Google podcasts (which I used for years) and switched to Pocket Casts. It’s been great other than some kind of clunky bits when trying to add to/edit your play-next queue, but otherwise I think it’s a pretty great transition from Google

I bet when he meows he says it in englsh
A lot of vinegar based sauces have shelf life past their expiration just sitting in a cupboard. However, sauces that have more fruits/general chunks of junks should definitely live in the fridge and be carefully monitored for mold.
Also, almost all condiments you use at restaurants (ketchup, mustard, hot sauce) are not stored in the cooler overnight. BUT! The turn-around for new condiment bottles is fairly quick.
I store ketchup in the fridge out of parental habit.
