I used to work at an insurance company, and all of our workers compensation stuff was called Milwaukee coverage because it used to only be required in Wisconsin

He used to be different politically, because that was cool. Now he has enough money that people will tell him he’s cool no matter what his politics are, so he now supports the causes that benefit him. I don’t think he’s ever going back.

I read even the really weird books, and none of them were as bad as the movie. They make Petra into a love interest. They also really downplay how hard ender can be, so, you know, entirely removing the purpose of the story.

Natürlich, aber das ist nicht meine erste Interpretation. Es ist kein großes Thema, nur das es doch ein bisschen stört.

Es stört mich leicht. Ich würde nicht runterwählen und hätte nicht kommentiert, wenn ich deinen Kommentar nicht gesehen hätte, aber ich finde es etwas ermüdend. Es ist nur der gleiche Witz, dass Männer eine Mission haben und Frauen sich nur für die Familie interessieren.

The first summer living on my own, I made a beautiful blueberry pie, and the next morning I took it out of the microwave (to keep bugs away during the night- I have since learned this was also an idiosyncrasy from my parents. Most people just cover it) and it was already visibly moldy.

I’m glad I got a slice the first day, and I definitely learned a lesson but holy shit was it a surprise.
