To everyone commenting about her using the beach of the monitor. She just has one of those super cool transparent monitors all the superheroes use.

A laptop with a screen on both sides would have its niche.

Shuting it would be like a tablet.

You could do something while a person across watches.

If you could rotate the screen you could swivel the screen to swap between two physical screens. I prefer two monitors over an ultra wide or trying to digitally swap between two screens. Rotating screen would have the problem of not being able to see both at once.

However, if you made the screen on the back hinge forward. You could flip the screen towards you and have a second physical monitor.

Sounds expensive and not really needed. But it wouldn’t be a bad design

From a Eurogamer supporter in the comments: “This is a crap job ad - but how does anyone know for sure that the image is AI?”

    Lol. Lmao, even.

It’s interesting how quickly people learned to detect the patterns of AI images. Like, I can nearly always tell which platform it was generated on because they all have specific biases.

The sad part is that it doesn’t have to fool the people that are paying attention. If it even fools the foolish, humanity is in for a bumpy ride.

The commenter should peruse LinkedIn for 20 minutes and they’ll be able to spot AI images instantly

I thought it looked like AI even before I noticed the screen was backwards. It just has that super generic look.

Umm, it looks the output is listed on the back of the monitor unless I am mistaken? Not only crappy but no one even proof read for errors. Sounds like a place you want to run from not work at.

    Doesn’t have a graphic designer

    Can’t do graphic design

Has to hire a graphic designer before the graphic designer can graphic design

    Seems pretty logical to me

Is it just me, but I feel like I’ve seen this kinda cutesy AI cartoon style a lot in the last few weeks. Has it been around longer, and I just noticed it? It’s definitely one of those things that once you see you can’t unsee it.

I think many of them are since chatgpt introduced the “Studio Ghibli” style earlier this year. They are usually these wierd mixes between anime and western cartoon styles, with a warm color tone for some reason

AI tends to eat it’s own, and others, shit. That’s why you’ll often see images like this that look similar to others. This is just what bing image creator is pumping out because it’s literally gorging on its own waste.

It’s more like it’s tyranny of the majority, where some popular style or VFX or meme or dominates the landscape. Figet spinners, Stanley tumblers, bean mouth animation, Vaporwave, etc., etc., etc.

And yes, it’s incredibly easy to download some Ghibli art style.

Figet spinners, Stanley tumblers, bean mouth animation, Vaporwave, that time Terminator 2 came out and everybody was showing off liquid metal VFX like it was out of style, the same thing with VCR screen fuzz on videos now, etc. I think Tiktok has made this problem infinitely worse, since all it takes is some random video to get insanely popular, and suddenly people are consuming some other shitty product, or eating cleaning products, or doing something else fatally stupid.

And yes, it’s incredibly easy to download some Ghibli art style. Or any art style, really.

I feel like it’s displacing Corporate Memphis, at the very least in terms of how much I hate it.

ROFL Pathetic for the Department Lead to not even check if the slop was correctly generated! This person should’ve been laid off, but, somehow survived the unnecessary layoffs. Just because Microsoft wanted to burn money on AI, risk a lot on something that doesn’t actually generate meaningful profit. Tragic, and I hope it hurts them badly.

How do they do this? Xbox is a big ass company that pays super well. Like if you don’t have a graphic designer, at least buy a stock image or out source it? I’m sure you could do that with company money? These people earn over 100k a year for being this stupid?
