Did the fourth one come out already? I honestly have no idea if I missed it or if it’s somehow still not released yet.
The second movie came out in 2022 and the third one doesn’t come out until 2025.

And a fourth and a fifth, both of which have already had some work done (fourth one apparently has 1/3rd consisting of a time skip sequence that has already been filmed). And if they do well, Cameron has said that he has plans to make two more.

Legendary films are those with good story and often high budgets. Avater was not one of them.
I got bored with it. It was twice as long as it needed to be. I didn’t even finish it when I watched it.

The first movie was James Cameron’s anti-capitalist masterpiece! They have the technology and medicine to heal the parapalegic protagonist but don’t want to spend the money on him. They can sucker him into military service for their interests however.

Taste is subjective. If you don’t like it, that’s fine. I thought the first two were enjoyable, even though predictable.
There are other movies out there I’m sure you enjoy that I would find incredibly boring.
First one was an okay movie, second one was basically a screensaver that was sometimes annoyingly interrupted by explosions.
Haven’t watched the second one (not sure if I ever will), but I’m definitely stealing that.
