It’s so fucking crazy this whole situation - I live in Europe yet somehow it feels like this election will influence not only the states but Europe as well…and I find that kind scary…

So if you Americans please could change the way your politics work, that’ would be much appreciated!

“We cannot leave the security of Europe in the hands of voters in Wisconsin every 4 years” says France’s Europe Minister.

American politics affect everyone, and yeah they have an outsized impact on Europe because they embolden y’all’s right wing demagogues too.

Trump’s influence can be felt around the world already with the right gaining ground everywhere. No matter who wins the election, Trump won already, no need to be president a second time.

I think it’s more correlation than causation, Russian interference being the common cause.

Trump is not original, most right-wingers in Europe copy Putin and Hitler, so does Trump in a lot of ways.

The underlying problem is that the winners have no motivation to change the system.

You know, if I had any influence over like law enforcement, I’d tell em something like “Yeah, we lost. But guys, this is a great opportunity to flex - on the people who screwed it up most for us. The damn ass hats that kept saying the quiet part out loud!” Or summer shit that like
